Playback: PM Express discusses petroleum price deregulation
Years after the implementation of the Petroleum Price Deregulation policy by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), it seems not to be working as effective as the average Ghanaian may have expected.
The policy which was expected to help reduce prices and create competition among OMCs is not serving its purpose.
Recent events have raised questions about this policy, with some saying that the country is getting back to a regulated regime.
On Business Edition of PM Express, George Wiafe engaged the following guests; Former Chief Executive of National Petroleum Authority and GNPC, Alex Mould, Executive Secretary at Chamber of Petroleum Consumers, Duncan Amoah and Communications Manager at National Petroleum Authority, Muhammed Abdul-Kudus as they discussed the topic ‘Petroleum Price deregulation in Ghana and threats’.
