Livestream: Business edition of PM Express discusses how to stabilise the Cedi

The Ghana cedi strengthened for the second day running to ¢14.00 to one US dollar in the retail or forex market as it continued its recent gain against the American ‘greenback’.

This is against ¢14.50 it sold to a dollar on October 25, 2022.

A few days ago, the Cedi rate to the dollar was rapidly rising, causing worry to many Ghanaians as the ripple effect was becoming dire.

Although it is at a much-appreciated rate currently, it is somehow not at the best rate Ghanaians wish for.

Tonight, the business edition of PM Express will discuss how the cedi can be stabilised and what alternatives there are.
