Mohammed Kudus expected to start against Rangers in the Champions League
Mohammed Kudus is expected to start Ajax’s first UEFA Champions League game of the season on Wednesday against Rangers, Joy Sports can exclusively confirm.
It’ll be the first time the Ghanaian is starting a match for Ajax since April 30 when he played 58 minutes against Zwolle in a league game.

The 22-year-old is set to replace Brian Brobbey upfront and play as a false 9 as he did for the most part of pre-season.
Kudus was linked with a move away from Ajax after seeing limited minutes at the beginning of the season.
Everton was interested and bid for the player, however, Ajax rejected believing that the midfielder is a crucial part of the club’s plans.
Kudus scored his first goal over the weekend against Cambuur after he replaced Brobbery at halftime over the weekend.
