Green Sports Academy congratulates Black Stars on qualifying for Qatar 2022
Ghana’s first-ever multi-sport academy, Green Sports, has congratulated the Black Stars on securing a ticket to this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
The four-time African champions will be playing at the Mundial for the fourth time after beating West African neighbours Nigeria in the play-offs.
In a statement issued by its General Manager Ernest Buamah, Green Sports highlighted the never-say-die spirit of the Black Stars.
“When all seemed lost after your poor outing in the just-ended 2021 AFCON in Cameroon, you have shown that with perseverance and unity we can overcome every challenge of life. We are indeed proud of you and wish you the best”, the statement read.
Green Sports has also urged the Sports Ministry and the GFA to confirm the permanent appointment of the interim technical team led by former midfielder Otto Addo.
