The air at Joy Prime Studios in Accra was filled with excitement today, December 1 as the team prepared to unveil new state-of-the-art facilities.

Joy Prime has been a beacon of quality broadcasting and offers exciting experience with a blend of entertainment, sports, telenovelas among others.

In the lead-up to the grand studio opening, the team at Joy Prime crafted a series of engaging programmes, perfectly timed to coincide with the celebration of the 39th National Farmer’s Day.

The hosting duties for the momentous programme were gracefully undertaken by the dynamic duo of KMJ, The Royal Host, and the charming Roselyn Felli, both esteemed hosts of the popular Prime Morning show.

The pair adorned themselves in traditional Ghanaian cultural attire, perfectly complementing the essence of the occasion with a touch of cultural flair.

The English-speaking TV channel did not only showcase its new studios but also honoured the hardworking farmers who formed the backbone of the nation.

One of the highlights of the day was the presence of Kwan Pa, a highly acclaimed indigenous band in Ghana who brought a vibrant energy to the studios. The stage was set, the instruments tuned, and as the cameras rolled, Kwan Pa took center stage.

The band’s performance was nothing short of spectacular. Their melodies resonated through the studio, reaching the hearts of everyone present. Kwan Pa, with their unique blend of traditional and contemporary sounds, transported the audience to a musical realm that celebrated the rich cultural tapestry of Ghana.

As the rhythmic beats echoed, the band transitioned seamlessly from one song to another, including a selection of patriotic tunes that stirred a sense of national pride.

Official Starter, a Ghanaian dancer was a guest at the grand opening and accompanied by a group of enthusiastic market women/members of the Happy Town Project who joined in the celebration.

Their graceful movements and infectious energy brought an additional layer of dynamism to the event.

The fusion of Kwan Pa’s soulful tunes, the energetic Samba dancers, and the vibrant dance from the market women/members of the Official Town Project made the studio opening a truly memorable occasion.
