Joy learning Essay Club Contest: Blessing Akuoko Boahemaa, Zahson Zenata emerge winners for July 2022 edition
The all exciting July 2022 edition of the Joy Learning Essay Club contest for students across the country has reached its climax.
A virtual ceremony hosted by Joy Prime‘s presenter, Ibrahim Ben-Bako was held on Friday, July 29, 2022 to announce the winners for the July edition.
Renowned broadcaster, Nathaniel Attoh was invited to announce the winners.
The winners were Blessing Akuoko Boahemaa and Zahson Zenata of Domnican School and Kpando Senior High School respectively.
Blessing Akuoko Boahema was crowned the best student at the JHS category with 3,864 votes. Zahson Zenata on the other hand won the SHS category with 881 votes.
They both beat eight finalists to win amazing prizes and also get the chance to become brand ambassadors for Joy Learning.
Meanwhile, over 1,000 entries were received but only ten students made it to the finale. The best ten essays were selected by a panel of examiners.
In an effort to select the best two essays, the audience voted for the overall winners.
The Joy Learning Essay Club was introduced to help improve the writing skills of students and also make them share their thoughts on national issues.
