Organisers of 2022 Inter-Tribal Football Gala honours Enoch Worlanyo [Asempa FM SportsNite]
Organisers of the 2022 Zongo Inter-Tribal Football Gala have honoured award-winning broadcast journalist Enoch Worlanyo for his outstanding contributions to the success of the event.
The competition, which attracted all the various tribes from the length and breadth of the country, was staged in Kanda, a suburb of Accra.
The Zongo Inter-Tribal Football Gala is organised by the Royal Vulture Sports Consult and Organisation.
The citation reads: “For your outstanding contribution to the success of the 2nd edition of the Zongo Inter-Tribal Football Gala competition. Your presence and promoting the tournament, it is with great honour that the Royal Vulture Sports Consult and Organisation – organisers of the Zongo Inter-Tribal Football competition would like to honour and motivate you to keep having a positive impact on our subsequent editions. This appreciation was in acknowledgement and recognition of your selfless and indelible contribution and support to the success of the competition.”
The presentation was made to Enoch Worlanyo in the studios of Asempa FM during the Monday edition of the SportsNite show by Awalu Angulu Mahama, who is the CEO of the Royal Vulture Sports Consult and Mohammed Sani, who is the Events Organiser for the Zongo Inter-Tribal Games.
Chamba and Morsi tribes staged a goalless drawn game in the final of the competition. Morsi proceeded to triumph over Chamba 5-4 on penalties.
