Akufo-Addo flies commercial to cheer Black Stars at Qatar
President Akufo-Addo has been spotted aboard a commercial flight en route to Qatar to cheer on the Ghana Black Stars ahead of their opening game against Portugal in the FIFA World Cup.
The President who flew first class with his entourage is expected to meet and motivate the technical team and the playing body before Thursday’s opener.
This is a departure from the President’s usual chartered private jets as the country faces an economic turmoil.
The Black Stars are in group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
