Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif, has released visuals for one of his smash hits, Konongo Zongo.

The song off his critically acclaimed The Villain I Never Was Album speaks to everything he has become courtesy of his upbringing in the Ashanti regional town where he was born and raised.

The video shot by Babs Direction in the streets of Konongo saw the team recruit residents from the corners of the town to play crucial parts in the storytelling process.

It is set in the slums, highlighting the dangers and opportunities in the projects and how much tough love is exchanged on the path toward growth.

Additionally, the leveled self-awareness shown by the 20-year-old star as captured by the director is pronounced.

Many who come from the area have already pointed out familiar faces in the community who have secured cameos in the 3-minute video.
