Young midfielder Evelyn Badu was voted the Most Valuable Player of the Match following her diamond-gilded show for Hasaacas Ladies in their CAF Women’s Champions League opening day win over Malabo Kings.
The 19-year-old scored from a Jafaru Rahama assist on the 11th-minute mark before sealing the victory for Hasmal Ladies with a second-half stoppage-time finish.
Badu, a 2018 Ghana U20 midfielder, was in superb form at the 30 June Air Defence Stadium in al-Qāhirah, Cairo as she stood out with a graceful performance.
Hasaacas Ladies shares the top spot with the Egyptian side Wadi Degla.
