Commonwealth Games: Joseph Paul Amoah progresses 200m semis as 2 others make high jump final
Joseph Paul Amoah has qualified for the men’s 200m semifinal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK.

The national 200m record holder finished first in heat five of the heats with a time of 20.58s and qualified for the final via an automatic qualifying slot.
University of Ghana’s Abdul-Rasheed Saminu finished third in his first outing at the Commonwealth Games missing out on an automatic qualification to the semifinal of the 200m event.
