Former Ghana Premier League star Kwadwo Asamoah sets target following move to Lithuanian leaders Panevezys
Former Ghana Premier League attacker Kwadwo Asamoah wants to achieve laurels together with his new teammates at Lithuanian A-Lgya leaders FK Panevezys.
Panevezys, who won the Lithuanian Super Cup in 2021, expects the crafted right-footed winger to dominate on their flanks as they seek to protect their lead at the top of the table.
Currently, the club which is based in the 5th largest city in Lithuania, is leading the 10-club league table with 34 points from 14 games with an unbeaten record.
“First of all, it’s the team’s target that’s the most significant and I believe that at the end of the season when the team’s objectives are met, individually everyone will see and know my individual attributes,” he told the club’s website.
The skillful winger scored 11 league goals in 3 seasons for Latvian club FK Spartaks Jurmala and is expected to translate his fine scoring form to the league and enhance their chances of winning their maiden title.
He spent the 2019/20 Ghanaian season with Bechem United.
