Ministry of Youth & Sports endorses Samson Deen’s candidacy African Paralympic Committee Presidential race

Ghana’s Ministry of Youth and Sports have endorsed prominent Ghanaian businessman Samson Deen to contest for the Presidency of the African Paralympic Committee (APC).

Deen, President of the National Paralympic Committee of Ghana, is credited with reshaping paralympic sports in the West African nation.

He was in charge of the Ghanaian Paralympic team that successfully competed at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in Japan.

“I want to use this medium to respectfully inform the membership of the APC that I, Samson Deen, have been nominated by the National Paralympic Committee of Ghana (NPC-Ghana) to contest for the Presidency of the African Paralympic Committee during next month’s General Assembly and Elective Congress on 31st October 2021,” the renowned businessman declared in a release.

“My candidacy has been endorsed by the Ministry of Youth & Sports of Ghana and by extension, the government of Ghana. We congratulate all NPCs for completing and sending the Mandate and Nomination forms before the 28th September 2021 deadline,” he further stated.

The CEO of African Origin Group of Companies is also serving on the Local Organising Committee of the 2023 African Games.
