Black Stars: Otto Addo snubs Danlad Ibrahim, includes Ati-Zigi as he names FOUR goalkeepers 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header against Nigeria
Interim Black Stars coach Otto Addo has settled on four goalkeepers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header against Nigeria.
The 46-year-old former Ghana international midfielder has dropped Richard Attah from the squad while snubbing Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim for the squad.
Danlad, a former Ghana U17, and U20 goalkeeper, has been impressive for Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League, keeping 8 clean sheets in 11 games.
Below are the four goalkeepers called up by Otto Addo.
- Richard Ofori – Orlando Pirates
- Lawrence Ati-Zigi – St Gallen
- Abdul Manaf Nurudeen – KAS Eupen
- Joseph Wollacott – Swindon Town
