Massive changes to hit Black Stars Management Committee, Chairman George Amoako set to be removed [Asempa FM]

Popular Ghanaian football administrator George Amoako is set to be removed from his post as chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, according to Accra-based Asempa FM.

According to broadcast journalist Andy Obeng Kwaku on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, the hierarchy of the Ghana Football Association has taken a decision at a high-powered meeting to replace the former Asante Kotoko General Manager.

His position will be taken by Ghana FA Vice President Mark Addo.

Amoako, CEO of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal, was appointed as chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee in January 2020.

Jones Alhassan Abu, who passed away last month in the Ivory Coast, will also be replaced by a new member on the board.
