Ghana attacker Christian Atsu starts training with Saudi side Al-Raed

Ghana attacker Christian Atsu has began training with Saudi side Al-Raed, Ghana Sports Online can confirm.

The 29-year-old has not featured for Al-Raed since signing for them in the league.

Atsu, a former FC Porto and Chelsea star, joined the Saudi Professional League club after leaving Newcastle United where he spent four seasons.

Once he is able to gain match fitness he will be in the Al-Raed squad for their next league game against Al Hazm next week Wednesday.
