MTN FA Cup: Kotoko coach Barreto worried about players’ attitude ahead of quarter-final date with Berekum Chelsea – [Asempa FM]

Asante Kotoko head coach Mariano Barreto has expressed concerns over the attitude of his players ahead of the Porcupine Warriors’ MTN FA Cup quarter-final date with Berekum Chelsea.

The 64-year-old is worried about how his players have responded to games since they suffered 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in a matchday 31 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kotoko have recorded two losses and a draw since falling to the capital club but would need to punch above their weights if they are to beat Chelsea at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.

“My players have not shown good attitude in games. Of course its not all the players who are behaving that way,” he told Asempa FM.

Kotoko must beat Berekum Chelsea to advance to the semi-finals of the competition which would give them a chance of representing Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
