Nania FC to play Senegalese side Institut Diambars in final of International Challenge Cup ICC 2022
Ghanaian side Nania FC will take on the Senegalese side Institut Diambars in the final of the International Challenge Cup ICC 2022 on Thursday in Rabat, Morocco.
The youngsters, led by legendary African footballer Abedi Pele, recorded a 100 percent run in the competition en route to the final.
Drawn in the same group as Dream Educfoot Academy from Benin, an International XI from Brazil, Spain, and Germany, and Senegal’s Institut Diambars, the Legon-based side recorded emphatic victories over all three sides, scoring 6 goals without conceding.
In the semi-final duel, the young Crocodiles prevailed over the Nigerian side MD Football Academy as they squeezed out a 3-2 victory to book a place in the final.
The Legon-based side recorded a 1-0 win over Diambars in the last group game.
