Ghana FA names Black Stars Technical team to face Nigeria in FIFA World Cup qualifier. Check out the list

The Ghana FA has named Borussia Dortmund Head of Talent Development Otto Addo as the head coach of the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria next month.

The 46-year-old, who represented the West African nation in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, will lead a team of four coaches with former Tottenham Hotspur manager Chris Hughton acting in a Technical Advisor role.

Addo met with the Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku in Germany last week and held a fruitful discussion with the Hamburg-born about taking interim charge of the Black Stars.

Former Asante Kotoko head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani will serve as the first assistant to Addo while Aston Villa U23 head coach George Boateng will serve as the second assistant to the team.
