Ghana lose Celta de Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo for Wednesday’s 2023 AFCON qualifier against Madagascar

Ghana head coach Otto Addo would be without Celta de Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo for Wednesday’s 2023 AFCON qualifier against Madagascar.

According to a publication by the Ghana FA on Tuesday, the 26-year-old twisted his ankle at training and has been ruled out of the game.

Aidoo missed the Black Stars‘ training session on Monday and will be further assessed by the medical team to see whether he can recover in time ahead for the clash against the Central African Republic next week.
