These two Kotoko players missed Tuesday’s training due to injuries

Asante Kotoko pair of Isaac Oppong and Samuel Boateng both missed Tuesday’s training sessions at the Adako Jachie Training Grounds due to various degrees of injuries.

According to Kumasi-based broadcast journalist Jonathan Asiedu on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show, 18-year-old Oppong didn’t show up at training on Tuesday due to an injury he picked up during the 3-2 loss to King Faisal at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Meanwhile forward, Boateng 24, who has scored twice in 6 appearances for the Porcupine Warriors was replaced by Cameroonian Franck Mbella on the hour mark due to injury.

With the Ghana Football Association announcing the postponement of the Ghana Premier League clash against Hearts of Oak, the center-forward might have enough time to recover for Kotoko’s next game in the league.
