Olympics coach Annor Walker reveals how Kotoko enplaned him to Kumasi [Asempa FM]

Great Olympics coach Daniel Annor Walker has revealed he is a former player of Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.

The 64-year-old, who is on the radar of the Porcupine Warriors to replace want-away Mariano Barreto, has revealed he was enplaned from Accra to Kumasi in 1981 on the eve of his move to Kotoko.

“I met Simms [Asante Kotoko CEO at the time] in his office and he made me a generous offer which I couldn’t turn down. From there he took me to the office of Ghana Airways and purchased the plane ticket for the trip to Kumasi. I arrived in at the Kumasi Airport to meet fans already waiting for me. I spent two seasons at the club,” he told Benedict Kwadwo Mensah on Asempa FM.

The Black Stars B head coach has been strongly linked with a move to Asante Kotoko to replace Portuguese Mariano Barreto who is set to leave the club.
