Mighty Revelation: UEFA Champions League star Edmund Addo was a coconut seller in Dansoman [Asempa FM SportsNite]

The guardian of Sheriff Tiraspol midfield dynamo Edmund Addo has revealed the 21-year-old was a coconut seller in Dansoman.

Addo has been inspiring in the UEFA Champions League for Sheriff where he has been shining in the Group D for the Moldovan club.

The supreme form of the former Senica holding midfielder has caught the eyes of the Ghanaian football fraternity with many wondering why he wasn’t included in the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Nii Okine, the guardian of the player, has revealed the youngster was a coconut seller in Dansoman.

“The boy was a coconut seller in Dansoman. He sometimes went to Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park to train with Liberty Professionals but the likes of Dada Ansong didn’t mind him,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM SportsNite.

Addo was in a boisterous form for Tiraspol when they defeated Real Madrid 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu in the UEFA Champions League.
