Europa Conference League: Kamaldeen Sulemana’s supreme finish inspires Rennais comeback win over Vitesse

Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana grabbed his first goal of the season as Stade Rennes came from behind to seal all three points against Vitesse at the GelreDome stadium, Arnhem.

German defender Maximilian Wittek skillfully picks up a pass and blasts the ball towards the top left corner, bouncing off the post to break the deadlock on the half hour mark to put the hosts into the lead.

Serhou Guirassy of Rennes makes no mistake from the penalty spot after waiting for Markus Schubert to move before slotting the ball low into the middle of the goal to make it one-all just nine minutes into the second half.

Kamaldeen Sulemana who replaced Benjamin Bourigeaud after the break beautifully controls a strongly hit pass from Loum Tchaouna inside the box. He cuts inside his marker and rifles the ball into the bottom right corner in the 70th minute to turn the game on it’s head as the visitors took the lead for the first time of the night.

The 20-year old Ghanaian winger have been directly involved in five goals (four goals and an assist) after featuring in ten competitive matches for his new French side.
