BREAKING: Antoine Griezmann returns to Atletico Madrid on transfer deadline day [Fabrizio Romano]

French forward Antoine Griezmann has returned to Atletico de Madrid on a loan deal from Barcelona, reputable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed.

Griezmann, 30, returns to the Wonda Metropolitano after leaving the club in 2019 in a €120 million deal.

The forward will spend the season on a loan deal until June 2022 with Atletico allowed to exercise a buy option for €40m.

Griezmann has agreement for two years contract plus one option. He’s BACK at Atléti.

He scored 22 goals in 74 league appearances for Barcelona.
