Samuel Boadu threatened not to attend Gold Stars game in Bibiani – Leading Hearts of Oak supporter [Asempa FM]

Hearts of Oak fans had to plead with head coach Samuel Boadu before he agreed to make the trip to Bibiani for the Ghana Premier League matchday 12 clash against Gold Stars, according to a leading supporter on Asempa FM.

According to the leading supporter, who is a member of Hearts of Oak’s Chapter O called Farouk, claims the 39-year-old is frustrated with the actions of certain elements within the club’s hierarchy.

“Do you know that even Samuel Boadu had threatened not to attend the Gold Stars match? We had to talk him out of his decision not to attend the match. This clearly shows that he is not happy,” he told Andy Obeng Kwaku on Asempa FM.

On Wednesday, two leading members from Chapter O – Alhaji Zangalewa and Jimmy, told Enoch Worlanyo on the SportsNite show on the same that they have decided to block board members Alhaji Akambi and Vincent Sowah Odotei from attending the club’s games in the Ghana Premier League.

Hearts of Oak have underperformed so far this season having won 3 games, drawn 5, and lost 1, leaving them in a mid-table spot.
