Transfer: These are the 8 players who have joined Hearts of Oak for the 2022/23 season

Hearts of Oak completed the signing of 8 new players for the 2022/23 season.

The Phobians sealed the signing of attacking midfielder Maxwell Abbey Quaye from Great Olympics on the transfer deadline day.

Abbey Quaye reunites with his former Olympics captain Gladson Awako who switched camp to the Phobians last season.

With 6 players leaving the camp of the Rainbow club, 7 other new players have arrived to fill the void created by the departure.

The Phobians won the transfer battle over bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko to sign defender Konadu Yiadom from WAFA. The Black Galaxies defender is expected to partner with Mohammed Alhassan in central defence.

Cameroonian duo of Yassan Ouatching and Junior Kaaba have both joined the 2000 African champions on separate deals.

Meanwhile, former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi was also signed on to a two-year deal in early August.

Defensive midfielder Eric Esso joins from demoted AshantiGold with Wisdom Bumekpor signing a three-year contract.

Former TP Mazembe midfielder Prince Nana Kwesi Darmang and Zakaria Yakubu from All Black.
