Social media users react to Roads Minister’s statement to convert tollbooths into washrooms

Social media users have expressed dissatisfaction over government’s plans to convert tollbooths across the country into decent washrooms.

The Roads and Highways Minister, Kwasi Amoako-Atta made this revelation after the National Roads Safety Authority (NRSA) appealed to the Ministry to remove the various tollbooths if the government has no alternate use for them.

This according to the Authority will help to reduce road accidents.

But responding to the appeal, the Minister explained that the renovation of the tollbooths into decent washrooms will end the habit of commuters and drivers easing themselves by the roadside.

Following this announcement, many social media users have taken to their timelines to question the feasibility of this new development.
