Ghana Premier League: King Faisal defender Richard Akrofi available to face Kotoko after serving suspension [Asempa FM SportsNite]
King Faisal has been boosted by the availability of experienced defender Richard Akrofi for Sunday’s city-derby against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Akrofi, 29, missed the 0-0 stalemate against Medeama SC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium due to suspension from yellow card accumulation.
However, the former Hearts of Oak defender is available to feature for the Green and Whites if coach Nurudeen Ahmed decides to feature him in the game.
Kumasi-based broadcast journalist Jonathan Asiedu has reported on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show that the defender is likely to reclaim his berth in the starting XI to face Kotoko.
