This ex-Hearts coach recommends Salifu Ibrahim to clubs in Serbia [Asempa FM SportsNite]

Former Hearts of Oak head coach Kosta Papic has reportedly recommended midfield talisman Salifu Ibrahim to clubs in Serbia, according to Asempa FM’s SportsNite show.

The 62-year-old worked briefly with the midfielder whose skill set and strong work ethics has impressed many who have watched him.

The 22-year-old has 1 year and half year left on his running contract with the club and Phobians are desperate to see him renew.

However, Asempa FM’s Enoch Worlanyo has reported that the former Orlando Pirates manager has recommended the midfielder to a number of clubs in Serbia.

Sources close to the player has revealed that two Serbian clubs have established contact with the club and are monitoring his situation at the club.

Meanwhile, the Rainbow club want to avoid another case of a contract rebel at the club and are keen to tie him down.

However, Asempa FM’s Enoch Worlanyo has reported that the player and his representatives are demanding $4,000 as a monthly salary before agreeing to a new deal.

According to Transfermarkt.com, the midfielder is represented by Eyeconic Sports Management Ltd.

He joined Hearts in 2021 winter from Techiman-based Eleven Wonders and has scored 3 league goals in 41 appearances for the 2000 African champions.
