Transfer: Kotoko complete signing of mercurial midfielder on free transfer
Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of midfielder Richmond Lamptey on free transfer, according to latest reports.
The 24-year-old became a free agent after seeing out his contract with relegated Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies.
The Ghana Premier League record-winners have been on the market looking for replacement for some of their top players who are expected to leave the club and Lamptey has been one of the players on the Kotoko wishlist.
He is expected to be a direct replacement for midfielder Augustine Okrah who is heading for the exit gates at the Baba Yara Stadium.
