VIDEO: Former Ghana FA Vice President George Afriyie rallies support for Black Stars ahead of Super Eagles clash on Friday

Former Ghana FA Vice President Mr. George Afriyie has called on Ghanaian fans to offer their backing to the Black Stars ahead of Friday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars, led by ex-Ghana international Otto Addo, play host to Nigeria’s Super Eagles in Kumasi in the first leg of the final phase of the qualification series for the Mundial which is scheduled for November 2022 in Qatar.

Despite falling short of a place in the Round of 16 at the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon and coupled with the team’s recently unconvincing showing, Afriyie has called on local fans to offer their support for the team.

He had this to say in a video he released via his Social Media handle.
