Hearts of Oak could lose attacker Kwadwo Obeng Junior at the end of the season as his contract is set to run out.
Obeng, 23, will become a free agent in June 2023, according to Transfermarkt.com.
The Phobians are desperate to get him to renew his contract with the club.
However, Asempa FM’s Enoch Worlanyo has reported that a club inside has advised the forward not to ink a new deal with the club.
The source further revealed on the SportsNite show that the club inside has secured a 6-month loan deal in Iraq for the attacker.
Obeng has been on the books of the Phobians since 2018 and it is expected that he would head for the exit at the end of the season.
He has scored 16 league goals in 64 appearances in 4 and half seasons for the club.
The talented forward has a goal in 7 games for Hearts this season.
