Black Stars: Ghana’s Kamaldeen Sulemana provides assist as Rennais defeat PSG in Ligue 1

Black Stars attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana further enhanced his credential by providing a crucial assist for Stade Rennais when they defeated a star-studded PSG side 2-0 in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The 19-year-old set up French forward Gaetan Laborde to register the opening goal at the Roazhon Park in the 45th minute.

Sulemana sent a precise lofted cross into the box. and the French man latched on to it before finishing off the chance with a quick shot that sailed into the bottom left corner, leaving PSG goalkeeper Gigi Donnarumma with no chance of saving the effort.

Just moments after the interval Rennais doubled their advantage. Flavien Tait found some space deep inside the box to fire a volley into the back of the net, leaving the keeper helpless once more.

The Techiman-born has hit a rich vein of form for Rennais in both the Ligue 1 and the Europa Conference League.
