Randolf, 21, has been on the books of the Phobians since last season and the club now feel the road is clear for the arrival of the right-back following the exit of captain Fatawu Mohammed.

With Fatawu leaving, the club now have space on their wage bill as well as space on their right-back post for competition.

Randolf, a former Bechem United defender, joined Karela in September 2020 and is heading to the final year of his contract with the club.

Legon Cities’ right-back Michael Ampadu is another option for the Phobians are considering in case they miss out on Randolf who also has multiple suitors.

Ampadu, formerly of Liberty Professionals, will become a free agent in 7 months’ time and the Phobians could land him in January as Cities might be forced to put him on sale as he is unwilling to renew.
