2021 AFCON: Who should lead Ghana’s attack against Gabon? Jordan Ayew or Benjamin Tetteh?

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac will be hunting for goals against Gabon’s Panthers as the Black Stars seek the ultimate prize at stake in the 2021 AFCON Group C clash on Friday evening.

The Black Stars have not scored a goal in their last 180 minutes of regulation and must start finding the target if they are to keep hopes of ending the 40-year AFCON trophy drought alive.

The outcome of today’s all-important clash against Gabon will depend on who leads the attacking lines for the West African powerhouse who have lifted the AFCON title four times.

Ghana suffered a 1-0 loss to Morocco in the opening game of the tournament in Yaounde but, are fired up to go for victory against Gabon on Friday evening.

During the clash against Morocco’s Atlas Lions, Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew got the nod to start in attack ahead of Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Benjamin Tetteh. However, the choice failed to yield the desired outcome as Ghana got just two shots on target in the game.
