2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier: Ghana to face bitterest rivals Nigeria in final play-off

Ghana has been paired with old foes Nigeria in the final round of the qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup which comes off in Qatar in November.

The draw comes after the Black Stars were booted out of the 2021 AFCON tournament when the one-time West African powerhouse finished bottom of Group C which featured Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros.

However, Nigeria’s tournament in Cameroon has been the opposite of Ghana’s campaign after excelling under Augustine Eguavoen.

Ghana and Nigeria have fierce football rivalry.
