Kotoko legend tags club’s players as USELESS, claims he can play better than them in his old age – [Oyerepa FM]
Asante Kotoko legend Sarfo Gyamfi has questioned the attitude and performance of some players of the club.
The 54-year-old former Ghana international has been left disappointed in the Porcupine Warriors after they missed out on the Ghana Premier League title.
Gyamfi, a member of the 1992 Ghana AFCON squad, watched his former club slip to a 1-0 loss to struggling Elmina Sharks at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
After watching Kotoko finish below Hearts of Oak Gyamfi has been left brokenhearted and he has descended on the players of the club.
“Who recruited these players for Kotoko? They have turned Politicians, some are useless, most players should be sacked. I can even play better than them. Most of them should be sacked from the team,” he told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
Kotoko finished second in the Ghana Premier League after playing all 34 games from their favourite Baba Yara Stadium which is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
