Ampem Darkoa coach Nana Adarkwa voted 2022 SWAG MTN/Adamus Coach of the Year Award
Head coach of Women’s Ghana Premier League side Ampem Darkoa, Joe Nana Adarkwa, has been voted as the 2022 SWAG MTN/Adamus Coach of the Year.
The experienced gaffer led the Techiman-based side to win a double in the year under review, beating seasoned winners Hasaacas Ladies twice to win the Premier League and Women’s FA Cup titles.
Former Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, who won the Ghana Premier League title with the Porcupine Warriors, was also in contention for the honour.
Legendary boxing trainer Ofori Asare and armwrestling coach Husseini Akueteh Addy were also in the race for the award.
However, the 391 registered journalists who voted decided that Nana Adarkwa deserves the top award.
