Black Stars: C.K Akonnor hands late call-up to St Pauli midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh

Ghana coach Charles ‘C.K’ Akonnor has handed a late call up to Germany-based midfielder Daniel-Kofi Kyereh in his latest Black Stars call-ups.

The 25-year-old offensive midfielder is among 4 players who have been named in recent call ups as replacements for players who have not been able to honour the calls up.

Kyereh, born in Accra to a Ghanaian father and a German mother, scored 9 goals and provided 7 assists for St Pauli in the German Bundesliga II.

His father hails from the Bono regional town of Nsoatre.

The former Wolfsburg U19 midfielder has a goal and an assist in 4 games this season for Pauli in the Bundesliga II.

Spain-based defender Joseph Aidoo has been called up as a replacement for Daniel Amartey who will not be able to turn up for the games in Cape Coast and Johannesburg.

Ghanasportsonline.com exclusively reported that Poland-based midfielder Yaw Yeboah has been called up following his superb performance for Wisla Krakow in the Polish top-flight.

Forward Braydon Manu, who plays for SV Darmstadt 98 in the Bundesliga II, has also been called up to take the place of Jordan Ayew.
