Black Stars forward Benjamin Tetteh strikes for Yeni Malatyspor in Turkey

Ghana international forward Benjamin Tetteh scored the opening goal for Yeni Malatyspor in their Turkish Super Lig victory over Altay on Friday evening at the Yeni Malatya Stadyumu.

The 24-year-old registered the first goal of the match 12 minutes after the interval as the Yellow and Reds went ahead to grind their second victory in a row.

Tetteh came close to opening the scoring early in the first-half but his powerful shot was stopped by the visitors’ goalkeeper.

Moments later he had a free header but he glanced the opportunity over the crossbar.

However, he raced to connect home a Mustafa Eskihellac cross on the 52nd-minute mark.

He has now scored 5 goals in the league for Malatyspor.
