Black Stars: Ghana midfielder Kudus Mohammed scores on injury return for Ajax in Holland
Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus marked his return from injury with a goal for Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie on Tuesday night.
After picking up an injury in mid-July in a friendly match against Anderlecht, Mohammed Kudus, 21, returns back to the Ajax Amsterdam team with a shout in an emphatic 5-0 victory to Fortuna Sittard.
The 21-year-old replaced Steven Berghuis just after the break when his side was already in control with 3-0 halftime results.
In the 72nd minute, Kudus Mohammed announced his presence on the pitch with a goal to increase the lead to 4-0.
Just five minutes after, Argentine defender Nicolas Tagliafico said goodbye to Fortuna Sittard with a fifth goal for the visitors.
A goal scored today by Kudus was his first-ever goal in the Netherlands 2021/22 Eredivisie season.
