BREAKING: Ghana defender Daniel Amartey wins Community Shield after excelling for Leicester in victory over Man City

Ghana international Daniel Amartey was in full force for Leicester City who defeated Manchester City 1-0 to win the 2021 Community Shield title on Saturday evening at the Wembley Stadium.

The 26-year-old was rock solid at the back for the Foxes who claimed a vital win through a narrow strike from Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho who scored from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.

Amartey has now won three major titles at Leicester City after winning the Premier League title with the Foxes in 2015/16 and winning the FA Cup title last season.
