BREAKING: Samuel Boadu names tough Hearts of Oak starting XI to face Kotoko – find out who starts for the Phobians

Hearts of Oak Samuel Boadu has named a strong starting XI to face Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Midfielder Emmanuel Nettey has been restored to starting XI as he names a tough side to face Kotoko in the matchday 31 clash.

Nettey, who has scored once in his last two games for Hearts, was rested in the 2-1 win over Legon Cities in midweek with Frederick Ansah Botchway coming to take his place in midfield.

He partners Benjamin Afutu Kotey in central midfield with duties cut out potential Kotoko attack and initiate moves.

Goalkeeper Richard Attah, who has conceded just 2 goals in his last 8 league games for Hearts, stays in between the sticks with Fatawu Mohammed and Congolese Raddy Ovouka occupying the right-back and left-back roles respectively. Fatawu has provided 5 assists in his last games for Hearts against the Porcupine Warriors. Robert Addo Sowah and Mohammed Alhassan complete the back four.

Midfield talisman Salifu Ibrahim will play in a free role in front of the midfield duo of Afutu and Nettey.

Lighting-paced winger Patrick Razak holds down his place in attack along with Daniel Afriyie Barnieh. Kwadwo Obeng Junior leading the attacking lines for the Phobians.
