BREAKING: This former Ghana international has died in Holland

Former Ghana International Christian Atta Gyan has been confirmed dead in the Netherlands, according to multiple reports.

Atta Gyan, who played as a defender during his active days, had been battling cancer for a long time but, last month – November 2021, his condition was confirmed as incurable.

According to a source who spoke exclusively to Ghana Sports Online from Holland, Gyan is survived by a wife and three children.

He died in Rotterdam on Wednesday afternoon.

Last month, Feyenoord held a vigil for the ex-inspirational defender who holds a cult status at the club.
