Ex-Ghana U20 attacker David Atanga scored a brace to power KV Oostende to a glorious 2-1 victory over KV Mechelen in the Belgian top-flight league on Saturday evening.
The Ghanaian smartly ghosted into the box to score the opening goal of the game.
The goal was initially ruled out for offside but VAR overturned the decision as the goal was awarded.
English defender Zech Medley intercepted a Mechelen attack and initiated a great transitional play.
The 25-year-old arrived at the finishing end to shoot the ball home for the second goal 2 minutes from the end.
He has now scored two goals in 2 league games for Oostende.
He failed to score in 18 games for Oostende last season but has started on a good note.
