Ex-Ghana U23 attacker Issah Abass on target for Croatian giants Rijeka in pre-season win

Ghana youth international Issah Abass opened his goal account with Croatian giants Rijeka as he scored in their 4-3 win over Hungarian side MTK Budapest in a pre-season game on Friday.

The 22-year-old scored on the 37th minute mark to give Rijeka a 2-1 lead after Budapest had scored the first goal through Tiago Ferreira.

Abass joined Rijeka on loan from Bundesliga side Mainz 05 last week.

Rijeka has become his third loan club since joining the Bundesliga side from Slovenian club Olimpija Ljubljana.
