Ex-WAFA boy Forson Amankwah scores off the bench for Altach in Austrian Cup

Former WAFA player Forson Amankwah climbed off the substitute bench to score on his debut for SCR Altach in the Austrian Cup on Saturday.

The 19-year-old was playing just his first game for his new club and he crowned the cameo show with a resounding finish at the 74th-minute mark.

He joined Altach on loan from giants Salzburg where he has been playing since his February 2021 move from the Ghana Premier League to the Austrian top-flight.

Last season he made 1 league appearance in the Bundesliga for Salzburg but featured prominently for the junior side of the club – Liefering.
