Ghana Premier League: Charles Taylor tips ‘determined’ Hearts of Oak to win league title

Hearts of Oak legend Charles Taylor has insisted the Phobians have the right impetus to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title.

The Capital club have been on top of the league log for several weeks and are five games away from winning the title for the first time since the 2009 season. But, Hearts must clear hurdles against Legon Cities and Asante Kotoko to smoothen their path to the title.

Hearts and Kotoko are points tie at the top of the table with 53 points apiece but the Phobians are leading the pack with superior goal aggregate.

Despite Kotoko breathing down their necks at the summit of the league table, the 2004 Olympic Games Ghana squad member believes the Phobians are determined to win the league title.

“Hearts are determined to win the league title. I have been to their camp and interacted with the players and I could clearly see the determination in the players to cross every hurdle that comes their,” the former CAF Champions League winner said on Angel TV.

Hearts take on Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday evening ahead of the big kick off against Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the same center.
