Ghana Premier League: Hearts coach Samuel Boadu fixes sights firmly on final 9 points after beating Kotoko
Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has turned his attention to the final three games of the season after ousting arch-rivals Asante Kotoko 1-0 in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Hearts must secure two wins of out the 3 remaining games of the season to be crowned champions of the 2020/21 Ghanaian top-flight league.
The Phobians were superior at the Accra Sports Stadium as the Porcupine Warriors fell to their all-conquering side in an action packed game.
Head coach Samuel Boadu has fixed his sights firmly on the final three games of the season.
“Not really. We haven’t won the league title yet. We have to fight extra hard to secure the remaining 9 points from the three matches. But, we are on course to winning but we need to work extra hard,” he told Eli Kondoh in the post match interview.
Hearts are on top of the league table with 59 points, 2 clear of rivals Asante Kotoko who must now win all remaining three games or hope Hearts churn out unfavourable results for them to overtake them at the top with 3 games left to end the season.
